It is interesting listening to people talk about our current economic situation. Either it is a blip and all will be well in a few months or ITS THE WORST THING EVER TO HAPPEN IN THE WORLD! Just a guess that neither of these views is actually correct. What is true is that many people are going to be badly hurt and i is not going to be fixed quickly. Already it seems Obama is bending in the wind and so we will get the usual political spam. Neither fish nor fowl but some insufficient hi-bred. Consensus is a wonderful thing but having a POV and at least trying to enact it is better. If we implement something that 80 Senators and 340 Congresspeople can agree to, it is going to be mush and basically unhelpful. Stick your neck into the arena, believe in something and give it a try. If it doesn't work try something else but don't try every idea at once. That way lies Hooverville.
