What Am I doing here?

I've been unemployed now for a year with one 2 month break for a temp contract. My partner calls me a first adapter. I know there are a lot of people like me out there, over 40, unemployed, discovering that there isn't a lot of demand for our skills at our price (or any price). I am not yet sure where this is going to go but we shall see. I am a newbie. Time will tell. All I do know is that I am going to try (emphasis on the try) to write at least 5 days a week. Maybe we can start a conversation...
